Burke Lake Park- A Fairfax Tradition

Burke Lake Park has something for everyone tucked away in its 888 acres. Whether it’s riding on the miniature train or carousel, picnicking, testing your skills on the mini-golf or disc golf courses, indulging in a scoop of ice cream, taking in the sights from the tour boat, fishing, biking, boating, camping, or taking a walk around the 4.7 mile lake trail, Burke Lake is the perfect place to start your next family tradition. With so much to do you won’t want to leave and thanks to our campgrounds you can feel free to spend the whole weekend with us or even the week! When you visit you can also take advantage of the many family-friendly classes, camps, and special events.

Amusement Tickets 

  • Ages 3-adult  
  • Visit Sunny the Bunny  
  • Take a spin the carousel 
  • Make spring crafts  
  • Play games  
  • Enjoy a round  of mini-golf  

Egg hunt tickets need to be purchased separately. $15 tickets on sale through two days before the event, $20 if purchased the day of the event.

Egg Hunt Tickets 

  • Choose available times  between 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.  
  • Choose an age group: 1-4 yrs., 5-7 yrs,. sensory Egg Hunt for 1-7 yrs.  
  • Hop on down to participate in a timed egg hunt  
  • Only children participating in the egg hunt need to purchase an egg hunt ticket 
  • One parent is allowed to accompany each child for an egg hunt age group  

Egg hunt time is specified upon registration Pre-sale tickets are $5 per child through Wednesday, April 16.  Limited registration at the door. Buy early to reserve your spot!

The Burke Lake Park Information Center is located at the entrance of the park once you pass through the gate, on your right hand side. The center can help you with the following: Maps (also available outside Information Center), Park/Trail Map, Picnic Area Map, Campground Map, Lake Depth Map

From Route 123 North
The park entrance is on the right. If you see the golf course then you have gone too far.
The golf course entrance will be the next right beyond the park entrance.

From Route 123 South
The golf course entrance is the first left off Ox Road (Route 123).
The park entrance is the second left off Ox Road (Route 123).
