Beginning Thursday, October 31, 2019, Patriot Development Corporation, on behalf of Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, will begin construction of a new gravity sewer at the McLean Metrorail Station Kiss & Ride. Construction has been extended to March 2020. During construction, customers shall be aware of the following impacts:

• The outer lane of the Kiss & Ride will be closed, including 11 parallel parking spaces. Traffic will be redirected to the inner loop.
• The shuttle bus stop located in the outer lane of the Kiss & Ride will be relocated to the inner loop marked by a “Shuttle Bus Stop” sign.
• Pedestrian detours will be in effect around the construction site.  Customers should follow marked detour paths.  

For your safety, stay clear of the construction areas and follow all posted signs.
