NVLTCOP Recognized During Alternative Dispute Resolution Month

The Northern Virginia Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program was recognized at the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors meeting on March 18, 2025, for fostering peaceful and constructive resolutions to conflicts as part of Alternative Dispute Resolution Month. Camden Doran, supervisor of NVLTCOP, accepted the proclamation on behalf of the staff and volunteers.
"Alternative Dispute Resolution is not just a method; it is a philosophy that aligns perfectly with our values. It allows us to address concerns and conflicts in a manner that is empathetic, inclusive, and empowering. Through negotiation, and other ADR techniques, we are able to resolve issues in ways that honor the voices of those we serve, while fostering mutual understanding and respect among all parties involved," said Doran in her acceptance speech.
Congratulations to all the staff and volunteers of NVLTCOP for their valuable and impactful work!
