Book Sales

Meeting Rooms and Group Study Rooms

The Fairfax County Public Library has meeting room space available at no charge for use by nonprofit organizations and individuals for educational, cultural and informational community meetings and programs. Library-sponsored programs receive first priority. The fact that a group is permitted to meet at the public library does not in any way constitute an endorsement of the group's policies or beliefs. The Library Board of Trustees is the final authority in granting or refusing permission for the use of the room. Some rooms are available after-hours, please click the “Info” bubble for specific room details.

Programs and events

We strive to sponsor events that educate and entertain while connecting people with others who share common interests and goals. Our events include author talks, book clubs for all ages, English conversation groups, technology workshops, writers’ groups, preschool story times, STEM-related children’s activities and much more. Visit our events calendar page to see what's happening near you.
