Friday, May 31 - Transformation by Affirmation
Join Stephan Goldberg, founder and president of Optimus Performance, who will inform and provide practical exercises to utilize affirmations as a tool to achieve personal goals and to affect a change in attitude and perspective. The workshop will focus on the purpose of affirmations, the benefits, and how to write and use affirmations to achieve desired outcomes. Participants will be able to ask questions and practice writing affirmations as the workshop progresses. This workshop will run from 12-1 p.m. Register

Virtual Center for Active Adults - New Events Every Week

Family Caregivers are Invited to Sign Up for the Virtual Social Visitor Program

The Virtual Social Visitor Program is provided by the Department of Family Services' Volunteer Solutions Program. Our vetted volunteers provide support through regular phone calls made to family caregivers, many of whom are or have been caregivers themselves. A few benefits from this program include:

  • Alleviation of loneliness/isolation.
  • Opportunity to chat with a volunteer about lighthearted topics as well as share journeys/stories.
  • Development of a supportive relationship with a volunteer.
  • Provision of an informal listening ear/sounding board.
