Fairfax County has launched Plan Forward, a comprehensive initiative to update its 1990 Policy Plan, guiding land use and development decisions.
The update aims to integrate current county strategies like One Fairfax and Resilient Fairfax, enhancing residents' quality of life by reflecting modern needs and values.
Residents are invited to engage in the process through community meetings, focus groups, surveys and ongoing feedback opportunities beginning in May and June.
