There is no greater investment we can make for the environment and our community than planting a tree. Urban foresters can assist in planting trees at your school as well as providing supporting information to your students about the value of trees. This program is appropriate for all grades and runs 1-3 hours depending on your needs. The Urban Forest Management Division may be able to fund the purchase of the trees.
The purpose of the TPPF is to support efforts by the Fairfax County government and the community at large to protect, manage and enhance its urban forest resources. The TPPF is a fiscal mechanism established to collect, manage, disburse, and track funds specifically used to support programs and policies relating to the preservation and management of existing forest tracts.
