Did you know that food donations are at their lowest during the summer months? We need your help fighting hunger during the toughest months!
Unlike the winter holiday season, when giving is at its peak, summer often brings a significant drop in donations to food banks and pantries. Help us bridge this gap and ensure that our students do not struggle with hunger while on summer break.
In addition to non-perishable food items, we are also collecting dental supplies to ensure children have access to essential tools for dental hygiene. Your contribution can make a huge difference in promoting healthy habits early on. The last day to drop off your donations is Saturday, August 31.
Collection Sites:
Jim Scott Community Center, Monday - Saturday, 9AM - 1-PM
Mosaic Live, Saturdays, 5 - 7PM
Nottoway Nights, Thursdays, 7 - 8PM

Did you know that diapers can cost up to $80/month per child? This significant expense forces families to make difficult choices between buying diapers and other essential household items. Adding to the challenge, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits cannot be used to purchase diapers.
We invite you to join us in supporting our community and addressing diaper insecurity by donating any opened or unopened packages of diapers of any size. All collected diapers will be donated to Fairfax Diapers and Higher Horizons to help families in need. Your contribution can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Fairfax families. Thank you for your generosity and support!
Drop-off Location:
Jim Scott Community Center
3001 Vaden Drive, Fairfax, VA 22031
