Oct. 5th Providence Community Day & Back to School Celebration
The inaugural Providence Day & Back to School Celebration on Saturday, October 5th will be dedicated to celebrating the vibrant diverse community we're proud to call home. This event, co-hosted by Supervisor Palchik, Chair and Providence District School Board Member Karl Frisch, Celebrate Fairfax, and Neighborhood and Community Services, will highlight local organizations and businesses while fostering stronger connections among residents and community leaders. This free, family-friendly event is open to all Fairfax County residents.

Panel Recommendations Matrix
The Chair and Vice-Chair of the Police Civilian Review Panel (Panel) and representatives from the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) meet annually with staff from the Board of Supervisors to discuss Panel recommendations and their status. The matrix that follows captures the Panel’s recommendations for changes to FCPD policies and practices, the FCPD’s actions taken, and the current status of implementation, if applicable.
