The Herrity Building is located at 12055 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax.
Staff can answer questions and troubleshoot problems; however, the following transactions must be completed by customers through the Planning and Land Use System (PLUS):
Apply for a user account
Apply for a permit
Upload a building plan
Respond to plan reviewer comments
Schedule an inspection
Check the status of records
Pay fees
Building Permit Support includes anything related to the building itself or the trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
Site Permit Support includes anything related to the soil.

To ask a plan reviewer a simple and straightforward code question about your commercial project, fill out the connect request form. These meetings are conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams and should be no longer than 15 minutes. (For longer consultations, see "Pre-submission & Post-review Consultation" below.)

Consultation on pre-submission plans (at least 90 percent complete) and post-review so designers and staff can discuss the design or address failed review comments. To schedule, fill out the consultation request form.
