File Review Request Form

Criminal Case files will be held for no more than ten business days after notification of availability, to allow you time to come in and review. More current files are available for review at the Fairfax County Courthouse. Files will be located in the Criminal Division on the 4th floor in Suite 409.

Note: JV file requests requires ID and that you are either guardian, guardian ad litem, defendant, attorney of record or commonwealth attorney.

Civil Case files will be held for no more than four business days after notification of availability, to allow you time to come in and review. Current files are available for review at the Fairfax County Courthouse in the Civil File Room on the 3rd floor, Suite 320. Older Civil Case files are located at the Court’s Offsite Records Center, 2730 Prosperity Ave, Suite 100, Merrifield and can be reviewed there.
