Managed Parking Program

Residential Parking Programs

The Parking Programs administered by FCDOT restrict parking certain types of vehicles in residential neighborhoods:

There are three ways for residents to apply for a permit to park in a Residential Permit Parking District (RPPD) in Fairfax County (all permits are sent via U.S. Mail):

  1. Search “residential permit parking” using the search box in the top right corner of the FCDOT website homepage at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/transportation.
  2. Call the RPPD information line at 703-877-5877, TTY 711, or the FCDOT main number 703-877-5600, TTY 711.
  3. By emailing your request to RPPD@fairfaxcounty.gov
