Department of Information Technology (DIT) is the authorized agency for planning, design and implementation of information technology and communications systems for the County enterprise to include, but not limited to, designing, deploying and administering information systems, applications, network infrastructure, telephony, mobile communications and devices, websites and data storage, and any other information technology now or in the future.
Digital Counties 2024 Survey Winner
Fairfax County has ranked 2nd among America's top ten in the 2024 Digital Counties Survey by The Center for Digital Government in partnership with National Association of Counties (NACo). The survey identifies the best technology practices among U.S. counties.
