Registration Deadline Extended for the
Hershey Track and Field Games

Fairfax County, VA— The deadline for registration has been extended for the Hershey Track and Field Games, which will be held on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Falls Church High School Track, 7521 Jaguar Trial in Falls Church. The games are for youth ages 9 to 14 years of age and sponsored by the Fairfax County Department of Community and Recreation Services.

Boys and girls compete in separate events in different age groups: 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14 year olds.  Young people ages 9–10 will compete on Friday, May 16 beginning at 5 p.m. and ages 11–14 will compete on Saturday, May 17 beginning at 9 a.m.  The Hershey Track Meet is free but does require advance registration.  No applications will be accepted the day of the event.
