3rd Annual Northern Virginia Regional
Youth Against Dangerous Actions and Peer Pressure Conference

The Northern Virginia Regional Youth Against Dangerous Actions and Peer Pressure (YADAAP) Conference will be held on April 26, 2008 at Mount Vernon High School, 8515 Old Mt. Vernon Road, Alexandria from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The Conference is led by teens from Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and the City of Manassas Park.  Activities will focus on issues in schools and communities.  Breakout sessions include media imagery, teen driving, cliques, and teen promiscuity.  The keynote speaker is Mike Andrews, and expert in developing youth leadership.  Registration is limited to 32 teams (a teen and an adult sponsor).  The conference is free and open to
9th – 12th graders and an adult sponsor.
