Stimulating
civic responsibility...
The
Fairfax County Office of Partnerships creates and develops
public/private partnerships to stimulate positive change in
the community and encourage civic involvement and responsibility.
The office brings together representatives and resources
from all sectors of the community to address the many challenges
faced by low-income families living in Fairfax County. This pooling of public and private sector resources has an effectiveness
which surpasses government or private institutions acting alone.
In a spirit of mutual respect, members of each partnership design
their response to community needs in the areas of Health,
Education, Technology and Community Building.
